ABSTRACT: The following paper is a comparative analysis which will basically aim at tracing down the laws regarding space insurance in Australia and the United States of America so as to establish a comparison. The initiation of the paper will begin with the understanding of insurance and connecting it to space law. Taking into consideration the various launchings and other space activities, the liabilities will be analyzed and accordingly the need for insurance will be set out.
